first of all, this is in the right forum. It has nothing to do with the mess patch. All the mess patch does is that it allows you to type in a multi-line nick name without the use of msgPlus' command "/nick". And I do have the mess patch, but that's not the point.

The problem is that when I change my nick to a multi-line one (say by using /nick), the multi-line nick shows up fine in conversations. However, when I restart messenger, my nickname is turned into a single line. I'm not sure what's causing this. It may be a change in the MSN protocol or the new MSN7 client itself.

So, Skin Ticket is getting this problem too. Are you using MSN messenger 7?

Anone else experiencing this problem?
