If you disable third party browser extensions you are only hiding the problem, not fixing it, and all other plugins will stop working, even legitimate ones. Reinstalling IE is unlikely to fix the problem. If you have spyware/malware you need to get rid of it. AdAware, Spybot, HijackThis (the latter should be used only with experienced guidance) should be used to search for spyware.
wat exactly is spyware and adware used for??....wat do they do to my pc????......any gud software to get rid of them ????
This URL is one of the best explanations of spyware, malware and adware definitions on the net:

Adware can be very intrusive, and misleading. I've seen some very heavy XXX p*rn advertised, as well as fake spyware removers, and free software that installs even more malware on a machine. Its not very often that adware advertises only the 'nice' end of town.
In terms of good software, Adaware is for beginners and does not clean up a system well; Spybot is good for the more advanced, and HijackThis should be used only with guidance unless you are very experienced.
