It is dodgy... using webmail as file storage. Which means you need to give other people access to your mail account, because you can just leave it on your harddisk if only you need to access it. If other people can access your mail account, they can read and delete mail too

Maybe handy when you need to access big private files at various places, like work and home. It such case you could use it as transportation, but i prefer a USB thumbdrive or FTP server.
