Google them. but if ya want my advice.. you got the freedom of choice in DE, an or anything else you use, go to www.gnome.org thn go to www.kde.org then go to www.freedesktop.org , the rending engine in Linux, is much improvemt like X.Org. as to the windows aka Microsoft one, . you might wanan checkout www.X.org or is it Xorg.org?.. one of those anyway
Plus you got Security. SElinux, much better than Windows, the list goes on,, but google those
