Try downgrading to the latest official public beta (7.0.429) and see if this works. Before doing this please uninstall MSN Mesenger and Msgplus and then reinstall them.

What version of windows are you using? Can you please type in (!VER) in one of your contact's IM window (when plus is working :) ) and paste back here what it says! thanks :)
