O.P. RE: what's wrong with my contact list?
Based on some reason, I reinstall my system.(WindowsXP Pro SP2)
the weird contact list problem solved itself:|
I can now have MsgPlus work with "Display formatting attributes in the contact list" enabled.

really don't know why this happen...:S:S:S
cause I reinstall MSN messenger and MsgPlus several times yesterday and it didn't help .^o)
