When updateing Creative components try to follow this order
1. Drivers
2. Media Source
3. EAX Console
4. everything else
I really don't like their update funcionality and have emailed them many times back then, but it wasn't quite effective as you see. They seem to release patches all the time instead of releasing full drivers that include fixes from previous drivers.
