It is very good, and yes I could use it (in fact there was a time when I did!), but I like 6.2 better!

ie needs to be built into the OS because it makes developement for Windows much easier for all developers including microsoft. you see instead of a company having to make its own browsing protocols it can just use the ie ones whichs make developing easier so that is why you cant remove ie from the os (although you can remove it from being opened by the user through add remove programs).
This is debatable. There are MANY applications that run over the web without browser support. Furthermore I see no problem keeping IE as a singular program. Integration into the operating system (and I'm not talking simple shell integration) I DO NOT agree with. An 'Operating System' should be just that. An 'Internet Browser' should be just that. By its very meaning an OPERATING SYSTEM should run programs (E.g. a Browser like Internet Explorer) not BE the actual program.

I never said this. Quality over Quantity - I'm not talking about resources. You are right, there are different mindsets between Apple and Windows users. This is, however, not the point I am making.
I'm not continuing this argument in this thread. Either start a new thread in the appropriate forum or PM me.
