Cant use internet on network [SOLVED]

O.P. Cant use internet on network [SOLVED]

I just installed my new motherboard for my pc, so i have a new lan controller. but for some reason i cant access the internet or files on the host computer on the network. ive followed the network trouble shooter, but still no luck. any ideas?
would i have to remove the existing connection and make a new one on both computers because my lan controller changed?
it was fine before, only stopped working after the new motherboard
