Im using Pinnacle tv and im recording at vcd quality. So thats approx 500 - 600 mb per hour.

There are other options like DVD quality but i dont use them. So as i see it, mike you can do two things ... you can try to get PCTV or you can search for an option in the config for ChrisTV to control the quality of the vid and reduce it.
Try the latter first. Else you can google for PCTV ;)

Mp3's are only for audio afaik :-/
