O.P. Sad  Problems accessing apache host from outside network
Hello.

I am having problems accessing my apache webhost from the internet.
It works fine when I access it from the home network, but I get a "connection timed out" error when I try to access it from the internet (example: internet cafe)
I can access other ports (example: port 5800: VNC Viewer for Java) from the internet that work fine.

I'm pretty sure I forwarded the port right in my router, because that's how I always used to forward the 80 port to my local IP, and thats how I forward other ports (example: VNC port)

I don't know what's going on...
I don't really need the host for anything, but I don't know whats going on :-/

Maybe something was changed in Apache that disabled accessing the service from the internet? :S

I have tried:
  • Restarting the computer that has apache installed
  • Disabling my firewall (NIS 2003)
  • Restarting my router, and forward port 80

Still, it doesn't work :(

Anyone know what's going on?
It used to work fine before... :S

Thanks! :)
