after chating and working on it with matty for about 2 hours (i think), i got it working again, perfectly, here's how i did it, for future referance

i opened up the computer, and took out the hard drive, and put it in another computer, i then clicked start >> run then entered this:

chkdsk X: /f

replacing X with my drive letter

that fixed all the errors on my hard drive from when i had to flick the power off, because it froze

i then reinstalled the hard drive back in to my computer, and it started up perfectly
