I'm double posting as you'll find it easier to do in seperate posts.
If you do want to delete the botscreen start up.
do the following:
Start>Control Panel>System>Advanced>Startup and Recovery "Settings">In the "System Startup" click the edit button.>
It should then open notepad and you should see soemthing like this:

Make sure you delete the one that doesn't work other wise youre fucked 
and i'll take no responisbiltiy of what happens. Don't be put off though.
When you boot up if say the "second" one doesnt work then you are safe to say its ok to delete the second one
