O.P. Happy  Event log window disappeared..help please?

Recently I have had the problem that my event log window has disappeared.  I have tried ticking and unticking the log window option in the plus menu and changing a few setting and back again. 

I have reinstalled plus, and this hasn't helped at all.

Has this happened to anyone else, and any suggestions would be appreciated.
