Do you have the absolute latest version of Windows Live Messenger (8.0.0792) ? (Find out in Help -> About Messenger, on the contact list window)

If you don't, download the latest Windows Live Messenger here

If you do, try re-installing Plus! and, if necessary, Windows Live Messenger again :)
