What's the cog icon for? And I guess the arrow-book-thing is something to do with Windows Live IDs.
Edit: I don't use Mess Patch myself. Why don't the WLM team just make those buttons visible anyway? They'd be so useful.

I'm going to be looking into putting an icon there for Phoenix Live, but I don't think you can just add one for MD: how is it going to interface with MD?
