Windows Messenger has everything todo with MSN Messenger. And MSN Messenger has everything todo with Windows Live Messenger.
The post by Absorbation is wrong. If he explained the stuff I explained and then also said it could be a virus it would have been a bit more acceptible. But as it is now, he should have done some looking up first (I'm actually surprised he didn't knew it; or it had slipped his mind...)
Of course it can be a virus as every process can be a virus
. But his post was very clearly not saying that in that context. It is very obviously from his post that he didn't knew at that time that it was the process name of Windows Messenger.
