to be an official translator (those who translate the software and the web site), you did what you have to do: post a thread here and the official translators of Portuguese will reply. I don't assure you that they will add you in their team, maybe they don't need more people currently.
on the other hand, to translate scripts and other things, first you have to ask for permission to their respective authors. Then, just translate it. There aren't official translators for such matters. Also, this thread you created is helpful for you, because scripts developers may be looking for translators for their scripts. They'll contact you if they need you
