The point of spamming is that spammers earn money (most of the time when you bu
gy the product they advertise). Massmail 1,000,000 people, lets say 0.01% ends up buying something... that would still generate a nice amount of money, certainly when you're spamming from machines you don't pay for like open relay mailservers or trojan infected home PCs.
