RE: searching for a contact
OK 3 things to cross check you have done...
1) If you go tools -> options -> privacy -> contact lists and click "view". See if you can find the contact you are after
2) If you go tools -> options -> privacy -> Allowed/Blocked List. Check if the contact is there
3) if you have a contact list backup from before the deletion of the contact, you can put that in and the contact should return.
