pick your words carfuly, you want to RESTART your modem/router, and your computer would be a good idea too, so just unplug the power cord from your modem and router for 10 seconds, then plug it in again, and let it start up, see if it works then
i used to do DSL tech support, nothing was more annoying then wen somebody tryed to solve they're own problem by resetting the modem with out know what to do
