hmmm my Sony HDR-SR1 is pretty awesome, It may have a smaller HDD and be larger than the current models BUT I like the larger screen size because of it and TBH if you keep dumping the Highest Quality HD Videos to your computer anyway 30GB is way more than enough
.
It has a Memory card slot but it records to Hard Disk in either MPEG or AVC (M2TS) formats the mem card is for the photos it can take, which in my experience are pretty damn good (widescreen photos and video is awesome
)
My download dog video thing was filmed with the Widescreen photo function of the HDR-SR1 for example
