RE: Nicknames
Ok.. let me think of alternatives before thinking about adding a new feature...
1. You could replace their nickname with one of your own, then to find out what their actual nickname is you just go to Plus! > Contact Information.
2. If you right click a contact and go to Edit Contact, you can add their first name, last name and lots of details about them, including a Notes section which you can add anything you like. So you won't forget who they are and you can always see their actual nickname in contacts list and conversation.
