- See if you can go to Task Manager (Press Ctrl+Alt+Del) > Processes tab. See if there is anything unusual that you don't recognise. Search for it on Google and see if other people have reported it. If you can find which one is the virus, you can go into safe mode, search for it and delete it. If not...
- Run your computer in
safe mode.
- Then run an anti-virus search (
AVG Anti-Virus,
Kaspersky, etc.) and a spyware search (
Ad-Aware 2007,
Spybot S&D, etc.).
- You could attempt to repair windows with your Windows CD.
