Also remember that it may take a few seconds before your contacts will recieve the new display picture. So setting it to even 2 or 3 seconds is, imho, quite useless as you will not be sure that the contact will even recieve the new display picture in time before the next change, etc.
You also put some strain on the servers and your contacts' internet connection (especially if they are using a slow connection).

Bottom line is: you can not animated your display picture or even simulate an animation with Display Picture changers. That is not for what they were created either....

If you want an animated display picture I suggest you get a dynamic display picture (or wait till Windows Live Messenger 9 is out and ill all your contacts are using WLM9 also).
