my lcd screen's OSD brings it's self up about 5 seconds after i turn it on but the power button doesn't work(turned off at the power) the power button sometimes works but doesn't seem to atm. the osd is sutck there and won't close.
i've considered the following:
- tap the screen(buttons) with a hammer
- take the screen apart and either disable the switches or clean them at least
- replace it completely
it's a 2002 acer model
anything i haven't considered?
what's the best option?
