Yeah I though that would have to be the case if I wanted to check everything properly. In that case I reckon I may just leave it for now, as I don't have any of the equipment to do that (both the multimeter and the knowledge
)
The laptop seems to be working fine for the moment anyway, and I've done the basic tests and they all came out fine, so it seems like I've been lucky this time.
