Right, sorry for not making that clear... a PHP implementation is what I had in mind, as this forum software is written in PHP.
There is a
BBCode parsing extension available, but I can't find a single application that uses it, and who wants to compile and install an extension and add another dependency to their software just to parse some BBCode? =p
