Please search the forums before posting, as this has happened numerous times.

Do you have either SweetIM, SmileyCentral, Kiwee, GDI++ or ThreatFire installed?

These are all known to be incompatible with Messenger Plus! Live and can cause the problem you are describing.

If you don't have any of these then please post a screenshot of your Add/Remove Programs so that we can try to find out which program is incompatible :)
