You can uninstall the Messenger Plus! Live sponsor by clicking Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Messenger Plus! Live -> Remove Sponsor.
The sponsor is not a virus, it is simply adware that will popup windows whenever you browse the internet. It is also an optional component in the Plus! installer.
