Normally that uninstaller is pretty good, but it didn't work for me one time either. Download the REVO Unistaller, this bad boy removes every trace of the program you are trying to uninstall and re-install. Also don't forget to uninstall all the other goodies that Essential's installs so you start from a clean slate. Unfortuantely you will have to re-install all the addons, themes and scripts you may have added before.
