The Plus 1 logo was just changed because we appeared
, but Patchou didn't like the idea of having MS images in his software, unless the plain buddy used for the purpose of referencing Messenger status, etc. Especially since his software was becoming more and more popular.

The logo has the same colors of the MSN butterfly (that was Patchou's wish from the beggining, it had to be recognised as MSN Messenger-related). The shape is not MSN's butterfly swirled or anything, its (as chromo said)
a design done from scratch, inspired by the MSN logo and the "!" used in Plus!1.
