Maybe the contact who is trying to send you a file, is not on your auto-accept accept list :P, Try to check the button.

Plus!>Preferences>Instant Messages>Select>Automatically Accept requests from all my contacts. OR select te contact and press Add ->

In French:
Plus!>Préférences>Messages Instantanés>Choisir>Accepter les requêtes de tous mes contacts OR select te contact and press Ajouter ->
