we need a bit more information like your MSN Messenger version number and Messenger Plus Version Number

to get MSN Messenger version number
click Help on the top bar, then click: About MSN Messenger
it will come up with:
MSN Messenger
Version (version number)

to get the Messenger Plus version number
click Plus! on the top bar, then click About
Messener Plus (version number) - (release date)
