Yeah, exactly. The JavaScript resizer is not reliable, only a convenience. For example, in Opera, only the first instance of a certain avatar will be resized, even if it's shown multiple times on the page.
If you actually upload the avatar to the forums (avatar.php) then it will be
really resized by PHP.
