and yeah it probably is slightly safer, would be nice to be told though , especially if you play multiplayer games but it would be pointless to tell everyone lol, then you get people calling tech support saying Whats an IP!
Safer sometimes, but not for the poor sap that gets your old IP. Especially if you got an enemy online.
