I'm gonna assume you have AGP slot, PCI-E are cheaper anyways:

The GeForce 5500 256MB is a great deal at US$54.99, but for some bucks more you can get a GeForce 6600 at US$109, that will let you play most of the new games and not worry about upgrading for some time

Take a look at ATI's cards too, they have some good ones.
