Yes Cookie, i know these can easily be forged. I was just trying to differentiate between the whether the invite was sent from someone else or from Microsoft. Of course the message headers should be checked to verify the authenticity of a e-mail such as this.

In this case, invites sent from a particular person will most probably have the same (or very similar) message headers as Microsoft servers are still sending the message on someone elses behalf. Thus the only other way to differentiate between the two is by looking at the email address (or at least that i know of)
