In regards to "people getting off old boats"
What kind of people, getting off what kind of old boat? That's certainly not very specific. Also, boat or ship?
....
Pardon my frustration, but I'm a sailor.
There are "people getting off old boats" in lots of movies, from documentaries all the way to "pirates of the caribbean" and "master and commander".
Of course, you could also film something like this yourself, given the right location. Most boat-people love having their boats in pictures. My grandma has an old lifeboat off some ship that's been fixed up and prettified... and it gets its picture taken all the time.
Costumes!
