without testing,
i'm sure changing
"\local settings\application data\microsoft\windows live contacts"
to
"Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger"
and following the rest of the instructions will work

could be "Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger" don't have 7.5 so can't look
