Has anything recently happened to your pc (installs ect) that match the timing of this? Another thing is go to system restore and have a look if anything new has happened?
Start > All programs > Accessories > System tools > System restore
Also look for unsigned drivers.
Have you installed any patches to WLM or add ons? Like Sweet IM or smiley central.
