i always thought it was always gonna be shit

the minute it was awarded to beijing, china would've scoured the entire country for any 8-15 year olds with ANY athletic potential and had them in militaristic training camps grinding them to the bone...so basically the whole thing's gonna be flooded with chinese athletes and just not make it a fair competition

i hope i'm proved wrong (that's if any countries bother to turn up now!) but sadly i think i won't be
