O.P. Water in laptop
Today my mum spilt water over her work laptop, and she said that it "clicked off, she then tried to wipe up the water, tried to turn it on, it clicked a few times and then wouldnt turn on again"

Since she got it home I took the keyboard out and used a hair drier to try and dry the inside of the laptop, and now the computer turns on and seems fine.

What I want to know is, is there some kind of diagnostic test I can run on the laptop to check that all the parts are ok, or should it just be fine anyway?  I know it should be fine but seeing as this is my mum's work laptop, which she can't really do without, I just want to make sure that everythings ok.  The operating system in windows xp home
