O.P. [Suggestion] Nickname feature, why not everywhere?
The nickname is an useful feature but is not available in all areas, for unknown reasons:

  • we need a Contact:Nickname method to get nickname via code (see poll on italian forum);

  • the nickname does not available for the Tabbed Chats feature, to be more precise, in Tab Captions option (Preferences > Conversations > Tab Bar Settings).
ps: it's proved that the nickname was born from the need to replace the inconvenient-long-anonymous nicks. It's a useful feature, why can't be fully exploited?
