I use bold in my nickname and it stopped working for me one day so now all i see is ·# Tags such as (!IP) and (!WAT) are also no longer working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling msg plus many times but nothing changed. I can still use plugins and the rest of msg plus features.
By the way, I'm using MSN 6.2 and msg plus 3.25

In the Contact List window of MSN Messenger go to: Plus! => Preferences => Instant Messages => Commands & Tags

Make sure "Allow the use of commands and tags" (for (!IP), etc.) and "Enable multi-format IRC style shortcuts" (for Ctrl+K(color), etc.) are enabled/checked.

That's all checked. I even unchecked and rechecked then restarted messenger and it still didn't work.

Uninstall Plus! including preferences, reboot then reinstall.

I've tried that before but just for the sake of being safe, I did it once more. Still not working.

They work for me, are you using the /nick command in the Instant Messaging window, if you aren't, then it won't work...

Can you tell us what version of Windows you're running?

I didn't use /nick
I'm running Windows XP Home with SP2

For the tags to work you need to put them with the /nick command.

You can do this in the conversation window.

I've never had to use /nick before and it worked. I can't even use /nick now because commands are also not working.
