i hate quicktime

i dont even really like quicktime but looks kewl to me.

Quicktime is a good program - it's far better than Windows Media Player. I use WinAmp for music and Quicktime for vds whenever I can.

Quicktime supports many file types and that's the good thing about it and is good to have when you won an ipod

However i hate the ad's and the bugs

Whaaaaaa... I hate quicktime player... it sucks hell

I've been using Quicktime Alternative for a few months and I like it. It uses Media Player Classic to play the quicktime files and MPC can play almost every audio and video file type (if you have the proper codecs of course).

Quicktime Alternative 1.50 Beta (uses Quicktime 7 codecs)
Quicktime Alternative 1.48 (uses Quicktime 6 codecs)

I only use the qt browser plugin, because the wmp version doesn't work in firefox .

There is a WMP browser plugin - you just gotta look for it.

I've looked in to it, its enabled etc and it still doesn't work.
I've tried everything and i've given up.
QT handles most video files, just not avi and wmv
