doesn't windows have drivers for it ? if not check this page:
http://www.labtec.com/index.cfm/service/listing/A...crid=68,crid2=1764
yes i've downloaded that 2 or 3 times, (took ages) and the file turned out to be corrupt. and windows wasn't able to find a driver no. i just tried downloading form DriverGuide.com, and found a well-reviewed driver but it just got cut off the internet at 50% which took another half an hour GRRRRRRRRRRR
i just restarted it, it should be ok

try the Logitech Quickcam Web drivers from logitech. They're the same camera/drivers/etc.

Not true. I have a Logictech Wecam and it had a cd with that had the drivers on, this needed to be installed otherwsie it wouldn't work.

wtf, it's looking pearshaped!
"The program you are trying to run requires a current Indeo codec.
To obtain a current driver that is compatible with this version of Windows, please contact the manufacturer at http://indeo.ligos.com."
the codec pack turns out to be something which costs, i'm getting that off limewire, twill take another few hours.
i'm going to try out ur idea to use a logitec driver

logitec webcam driver is 40mb! and i'm on dial up! i'll see if my codec works then i'll give the logitec driver a go
EDIT: No the codec doesn't work, the exe wouldn't launch anything, but is thankfully not a virus. BTW the error message shown in my previous post is from the labtec program which i downloaded in the assumption that it was a driver.
