O.P. Suggestion - Save as for My Logs or Send as Email
Hi,

We are using msn messenger for live support in our office. The customers can reach the web messenger on our page (http://settings.messenger.live.com/Applications/WebSettings.aspx) and our support stuff helps them.

Our boss wants to read the messenger logs and so I installed MsgPlus! to all of our computers that we used for online support. So we can read the logs from your web page (https://www.msgplus.net/MyPlus/My-Plus!/My-Logs).

But I want to save them as pdf or html file. There is no option for saving the logs :(

Or I want to be informed about logs once a week otomaticly by email?

Are you planning to add this functions to your web application?

Or there is another way to do this?

Sincerely.

Logs from Messenger Plus! are either text (TXT files) or HTML logs and are already saved as such.

You can use Internet Explorer to open the HTML logs or the build-in LogViewer from Messenger Plus!.

If you have enabled online logging, instead from the webinterface, you can also read the logs from any computer using the build in LogViewer in Messenger Plus!.
(select MyPlus! instead of Local in the LogViewer's treeview on the left side)

Note that you don't even need to have Messenger (and thus Messenger Plus!) running to start the LogViewer. Messenger Plus! must just be installed and properly configured though.
(Plus! > Preferences & Options > Passwords > MyPlus!)

Automatically informing about log updates is not possible. And personally, I don't think something like that will be added anytime soon.

As I said, you can use the LogViewer to view the logs. You do not need to use the webinterface.

There is no option to save or to notify you of updated log files.
However, you can store your logs locally too (you can use both online and offline logging at the same time). And by using a syncronization script (either a Plus! script you make yourself, or a VBS windows script, or another external tool of your likings) you can save/copy all the logs to a central point if you whish.
