Live Messenger is shutting down, how to migrate (sort of, maybe?)

So you found yourself with an installation of Windows Live Messenger still being used to this day. We should update this stuff before time runs out.

Step 1: Backup all user data

Step 2: Remove your add-ons
[Image: 3_Face-removal.jpg]

Step 3: Shut down Messenger completely for the last time

Step 4: Uninstall
[Image: 7_RIP-good-old-friend.jpg]

Step 5: Upgrade to the new hotness
[Image: 8_New-hotness.jpg]

Thats cool...well I beta tested Msn 8.0, 8.5, 9.0 and 10
I didn't get a damn thing.
