I have a TDMA phone, the Nokia 7160. It had a slogan, "Command @ Hand". It was a pretty good phone at the time, but it's a little old so it's kinda pathetic next to new phones.

I love the cover thingie.... Too bad they don't bring here (Israel) new Nokia phones with a cover like that.... I hope they will.
If I had to choose a new phone that is available today, I'd get the Nokia 6310i:
I like it because it's simple and honest. No fancy stuff. I mean, it does have lots of nice features as you'd expect from Nokia, but not fancy colors and games and weird designs. Oh, and it is a TriBand GSM phone, which is cool because it works in almost any country.

My dad has it, too (our cellular service provider, Cellcom, runs both TDMA and GSM cellular networks).
However, if I could choose any phone, I'd go for the Nokia 8890:
That one's got neat design plus TriBand GSM.
